Village health care

The only clinic in the Jimmi Bagbo Chiefdom. Now, without the full support of Doctors Without Borders that it had for a long time, the clinic struggles to provide basic care to adults and children. It was established in 1985 and there are approximately 17 workers or volunteers. The clinic delivers approximately 20 babies each month. Since the government mandated that women should give birth in health clinics, more women now arrive 1-3 weeks before their due date to wait. The clinic has no way to get out into the surrounding villages. No ambulance for times of emergency, no motorcycle for quickly getting out to homes or delivering supplies, no bicycle to get vaccines out to families.
